This was our first away match of the season, and meant that the team had to travel to Rainham to play. Despite having some more accomplished players in our lineup, the team was in general, rather inexperienced at playing together. Despite this, we were able to make some good plays, and kept up with the fast pace of the game.
Throughout the game we were able to keep consistently close to the other team in terms of scoring, despite there being a few decisions that one or two of us did not understand fully.(But refs decision is final!).
However, the close scoring was not quite enough, with Sandwich falling to a narrow defeat. This was not all bad, as it gave us some areas in which we could improve our play.
Final score:
Club Sandwich 5 Tigers 6
Goals:
Nadia Laour 2
Amy Randall 1
Julia Agnegue 1
Juin Fok-Seung 1

After our game against Tigers we were not as fresh as we could have been! But we again managed to keep the scoring close with several opportunities coming close.
In the second half there was an injury to an opposition player, which meant that we had a player spare as it were. With this to our advantage we were able to keep the ball for longer periods, and keep someone in collect most of the time. There followed a barrage of shots at the opposition basket, but luck was not on our side. Despite copious amounts of shots, we were unable to break away in the scoring, and again were defeated by a mere 1 goal.
Final score:
Club Sandwich 7 Tigers 8
Goals:
Nadia Laour 2
Juin Fok-Seung 2
Amy Randall 1
Julia Agnegue 1
David Fradet 1
